What’s up with Kittitas County?
Kittitas County Health Board (KCHB) is preparing to hear proposals provided by their Program Manager this Thursday regarding vapor product regulations. PLB’s member partner in Kittitas County is educating and making solid contacts with KCHB and their local Chamber of Commerce. They have also enlisted the help of their non-vape neighboring businesses and landlords to rally with them by: writing letters on their behalf, attending public health board meetings, and asking for help educating the general public.
If vape has touched your life, please be proactive and send your story to firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your name, address, district # (preferred) and tell them how converting from smoking to vaping has made positive impact on your life. Let them know that vaping in an adult-only vape shop was critical to your success in converting to a smoke-free alternative. Always remember that we are making friends and educating people. Let’s keep it #plblove.
As soon as Kittitas has released their proposal, and sets a date for the public hearing, a CTA will soon follow. So, get your success stories ready, practice your speech in the mirror, and watch for county updates regarding this issue.
